“Fifty Shoulder“ is also called frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis of shoulder. These terms refer to the injury of a soft tissue and an articular capsusle. It usually happens to people over fifty years of age.

A complete fifty shoulder examination should include the following three tests:
Try to raise your right arm to see if it can reach the sky with the upper arm touchingyour ear.

五十肩是非常常見的症狀,指的是肩關節活動範圍受到限制,伴隨疼痛,晚上睡覺時,疼痛會特別嚴重,這是非常典型的「五十肩」。五十肩又稱「冰凍肩」或「沾黏性肩關節囊炎」。是肩部軟組織及關節囊腔受損的通稱,好發於五十歲以上的人。

但五十肩並非是五十歲以上的人之專利喔!五十肩的患者不乏三、四十歲或六、七十歲之族群。現代人用智慧型手機用的多,姿勢不正確,也常讓五十肩提早上身。
